This past weekends Retreat was a success.. not only did kids respond but i myself as a young adult has learned so much from both the lessons and the youth.repent; WE ARE SIN... we have to come to that understanding before we do anything else... we are to turn away from sin and towards God.. we have to constantly "CHECK YOURSELF!"revitalize: metamorphosis... turn from a caterpillar into a butterfly.. do not stay idle then you'll be like a flatline on a dead body; one who is a live does not flatline but has ups and downs..react:  what is your mindset!?!?! are you who you are in conformity?? or are you who you are becuase it pleaes God.. don't live up to the standards of the person next to you cause they suffer with dirty hands just like you do.. look to God and be inspired..refire:  wow.... motivationi is starts with "self" while inspiration comes from the outside... thats good stuff... live the life; like Jesus wants you too..Only time will tell till we see those pits in our lives... but we will also see those ups... we need both... that we do... GOD IS GREAT! 

THE KINGDOM OF JESUS CHRIST The Name Above Every NameHundreds of people packed international television evangelist Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy’s concert and healing crusades to overflowing capacity at Van Nuys, Southern California, USA. The Airtel Plaza Hotel, beside the Van Nuys airport and the sprawling compound of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name along Vanowen St. were standing room only during the two consecutive concert and healing crusades last October 25 and November 1, 2009. Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, who is the Appointed Son of God in these last days, had come straight to Van Nuys, California aboard the Kingdom’s Executive Jet N200AQ from Davao City, Philippines for the first leg of his North American Tour, which also includes key cities in Canada. He brought along with him his regular camera crew and directors, as well as a team of singers and musicians, who regularly accompany him in his regular worldwide tours. The Kingdom is firmly established all over the United States and Canada, as well as all over Asia, Europe and Australia.   People came from Van Nuys and nearby cities Panorama, North Hollywood, North Hills, Mission Hills, Carson City, Long Beach, Glendale, Torrance, even Anaheim and Temecula as well as Stockton, Delano, Fresno, Daly City and San Francisco, and many of those who had heard about Pastor Apollo’s liberating message of salvation even flew all the way from New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, Montana, Florida and even as far as Hawaii just to receive a message they knew no one except this Filipino pastor has ever preached before. Hevoy Russel, a Jamaican who has been living in the United States for more than 12 years said that “ the Kingdom is wonderful, its almost indescribable It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, once you step into here you’re instantly adorned with God’s blessings and given everything you need and you smile. And people treat you like royalty. The kingdom is everything and all you need is faith. If you have faith then you need nothing more.” Describing the Kingdom’s worship venues as “heaven”, Hevoy said that he learned from Pastor Apollo that “if people follow God’s will you definitely will be able to do anything and every morning you wake up with a smile there is no object that can stop you.” Ed Joe Arnett, an American who has been attending the thanksgiving and worship presentations at the Kingdom’s Vanowen compound for two months now said that he has continued listening to Pastor Apollo because “he introduced me into a life that includes the Father and that’s really something...now I am reading the bible... I just want to follow His will, I want to live the way He wants me to,” he said. “It’s done a lot for me so far, in just those two months...so i urge everyone to please attend and learn how to be happier and learn to live a life that includes the Father. That’s it...come here to [the Kingdom] in Van Nuys,” he added. Race, religion and educational background did not come between the listeners and Pastor Apollo’s message, as Americans, Filipinos, Mexicans, Africans, Europeans and other countries easily took to the preaching they heard, which dwelt mainly on how important reconnecting with the Almighty Father is for every human being, and how through the Father’s Appointed Son, people around the world are now able to return to Him and obey the Father’s will in their lives. This, Pastor Apollo stressed in his preaching, is the key to attaining salvation and becoming sons and daughters of the Father.Many of those who attended, like Keith Basil of Alhambra, California, who came with his wife and four children have regularly been following Pastor Apollo in his weekly broadcast over KVMD TV Channel 23, “Gospel of the Kingdom,” which broadcasts weekly every Sunday from 5:00 am to 8:00 am. It is seen over five counties in Southern California Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Riverside counties. Basil discovered Pastor Apollo’s program while in the hospital for his daughter and found his message “very enlightening and enamoring” because he “agreed with what he said about the powers that were running the world and religion. ” Basil believed that Pastor Apollo was one of the “special people chosen by God to deliver a special message to the people and was truly blessed by the Kingdom.” Another viewer, Eleanor Robles of Buena Park, said that she had only been watching Pastor Apollo for a month but she had become “addicted to listening to him.” “Every time I hear his message I am so happy and joyful. I feel so blessed, and my life has changed now because I am constantly happy and blessed,” she said. This  is too true to be funny  The  next time you hear a politician use the  word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about  whether you want the 'politicians' spending  YOUR  tax money.  A  billion is a difficult number to comprehend,  but one advertising agency did a good job of  putting that figure into some perspective in  one  of its releases.  A.  A billion seconds ago it was 1959.  B.  A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.  C.  A billion hours ago our ancestors were  living  in the Stone Age.  D.  A billion days ago no-one walked on the  earth .  E.  A  billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and  20  minutes, at the rate our government is spending  it.  While  this thought is still fresh in our brain, let's take a look at New  Orleans It's amazing what you can learn with some simple division  Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D), is presently asking the  Congress for $250  BILLION  to rebuild New Orleans. Interesting number, what does it  mean?  A.  Well, if you are one of 484,674 residents of   New  Orleans  (every man, woman, child), you  each  get $516,528.  B.  Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in  New  Orleans , your home gets $1,329,787.  C.  Or, if you are a family of four, your family  gets  $2,066,012.  Washington  , D.C .. Leading People to eternal Life ដោយមហាបណ្ឌិតទស្សនះវិជ្ជាម៉ូសេសំអុលសេដ្ឋ សត្វលោកគ្រប់រូបរមែងភ្លើតភ្លើនងប់ងុលតែនឹងអំណាចនៃលោកីយ៍រួចក៏លិចលង់ស្លាប់នៅក្នុងបាបកម្មរបស់ខ្លួនព្រះគម្ពីរបានបញ្ជាក់អោយដឹងច្បាស់ថា៖ វិវរណៈ ២៩:១៥”ឯអស់អ្នកណាដែលគ្មានឈ្មោះកត់ទុកនៅក្នុងបញ្ជីជិវិតទេនោះ នឹងត្រូវបោះចូលទៅក្នុងបឹងភ្លើង”។ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មានបន្ទូលថា“ដ្បិតបើមនុស្សយើង ទោះបើមានលោកីយ៍ទាំងមូលក៏ដោយតែបើបាត់ព្រលឹងទៅហើយនោះតើនឹងបាន ប្រយោជន៍អ្វីឬក៏យកអ្វីមកប្តូជំនួសវាបាន?(ម៉ាថាយ១៦:២៦) ព្រះពិតស្រឡាញ់យើងណាស់ដោយបានចាត់ព្រះអង្គសង្រ្គោះជាព្រះរាជ បុត្រារបស់ទ្រង់ក៏ជាព្រះអង្គម្ចាស់របស់យើងរាល់គ្នាអោយយាងមកគង់ក្នុង លោកីយ៍នេះ(យ៉ូហាន៣:១៦)។ព្រះអង្គបានរងទុក្ខវេទនាព្រោះយើងរាល់គ្នាជា យូរមកហើយដោយមិនចង់ឲ្យនរណាម្នាក់វិនាស់ឡើយគឺចង់ឲ្យមនុស្សគ្រប់គ្នាបានប្រែពីបាបរបស់គេវិញ(ពេត្រុសទី២,៣:៩)។ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ត្រាស់ហៅយើងរាល់គ្នា យើងរាល់គ្នាសុទ្ធតែជាបាបជនតែដោយសារព្រះគុណរបស់ព្រះអង្គក៏ត្រូវបានព្រះជាម្ចាស់ត្រាស់ហៅចេញពីលោកីយ៍ដើម្បីឲ្យមានជីវិតថ្មី។ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មេត្រីប្រទានពរជ័យដល់យើងឲ្យបានទៅជាពួកបរិហŸáž»áž‘្ធនឹងមានជីវិតអស់កល្ប។ យើងរាល់គ្នាជាបុត្រីបុត្រារបស់ព្រះអង្គជាពួកសត្វហ្លួងសាសន៍នៃស្ថានសួគ៌ ក៏ជាហោរាផង ដើម្បីឲ្យមានចំណែកនៅក្នុងការងារនៃដំណឹងល្អផ្សព្វផ្សាយប្រាប់ពីក្តីសង្រ្គោះរបស់ព្រះយេស៊ូវគ្រីស្ទឲ្យបានពេញសព្វក្នុងលោកីយ៍ទាំងមូល។(ម៉ាកុស១៦:១៥,ម៉ាថាយ២៨,១៨-២០,កិច្ចការ១:៨)។ “នៅក្រោមមេឃនេះក្រៅពីអង្គព្រះយេស៊ូវគ្មានអង្គណាមួយអាចជួយសង្រ្គោះមនុស្សលោកបានឡើយ ដ្បិតព្រះជាម្ចាស់ពុំបានប្រទាននាមអង្គណាមួយផ្សេងទៀតមកដល់មនុស្សលោកដើម្បីនឹងជួយសង្រ្គោះយើងរាល់គ្នាបាននោះឡើយ” (កិច្ចការ៤:១២)។ ដូច្នេះចូរកុំឆ្ងល់ឬភ័យខ្លាចអ្វីឡើយ សេចក្តីសង្រ្គោះព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានប្រទានមកដល់យើងរាល់គ្នាហើយ ចូរអរសប្បាយឡើង!ព្រះគម្ពីហ្វីលីព៤:៤-៩បានបញ្ជាក់ឲ្យយើងរាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា”ចូរអរសប្បាយក្នុងព្រះជាម្ចាស់ជានិច្ចខ្ញុំសូមប្រាប់មកម្តងទៀតថា ចូរអរសប្បាយឡើងចូរបង្ហាញឲ្យមនុស្សលោកទាំងអស់បានស្គាល់ពីក្តីសំឡូតរបស់លោកអ្នករាល់គ្នាចុះពីព្រោះព្រះជាម្ចាស់គង់នៅជិតបង្កើយ កុំព្រួយខ្វល់ខ្វាយអ្វីឡើយចូរទួលដល់ព្រះអង្គឲ្យជ្រាបពីសំណូមពររបស់លោក អ្នករាល់គ្នាក្នុងគ្រប់ការទាំងអស់ចុះដោយសេចក្តីអធិដ្ឋាននឹងពាក្យទូលអង្វររកព្រះអង្គ ទាំងពោលពាក្យអរព្រះគុណផង។យ៉ាងនោះសេចក្តីសុខសាន្តរបស់ព្រះដ៏ពិត ដែលហួសទាំងគំនិតនិងជួយការពារចិត្តហើយនិងគំនិតរបស់អស់លោកអ្នករាល់គ្នានៅក្នុងព្រះយេស៊ូវគ្រីស្ទ”។ “ម៉្យាងវិញទៀត បងប្អូនអើយអ្វីដែលជាសច្ចះធម៌(សេចក្តីពិត)អ្វីដែលគួរឲ្យ រាប់អាន អ្វីដែលជាការសុច្ចរិត អ្វីដែលបរិសុទ្ធ អ្វីដែលគួរឲ្យស្រឡាញ់ អ្វីដែលមាន នាមល្អបើមានសុគុណណាឬជាពាក្យសរសើរណា នោះចូរពិចារណាពីសេចក្តី ទាំងនោះចុះ។ហើយអ្វីដែលលោកអ្នករាល់គ្នាធ្លាប់បានរៀនបានទទួលបានឮ ហើយឃើញនៅក្នុងខ្ញុំនោះ ចូរប្រព្រិត្តតាមចុះដូច្នេះព្រះដ៏សុខសាន្តនឹងគង់នៅជា មួយលោកអ្នករាលើគ្នាហើយ”។ សំណួរ៖តើហេតុអ្វីបានជាមនុស្សយើងភាគច្រើននាំគ្នាតាមព្រះយេស៊ូវជាព្រះសង្រ្គោះ? ចម្លើយ៖ពីព្រោះទ្រង់ជាអង្គដែលពេញដោយឫទ្ឋិអំណាច គឺមានលទ្ធិភាពជួយសង្រ្គោះយើងបានដោយសេចក្តីស្រឡាញ់ដ៏ធំឧត្តមរបស់ទ្រង់ដែលមានចំពោះមនុស្សយើងគ្រប់សាសន៍។ សំណួរ៖តើព្រះអង្គជាព្រះរបស់ពួកសាសន៍ណាដែរ?ពួកស្បែកសឬក៏ស្បែកខ្មៅ,លឿងឬក្រហម ចម្លើយ៖ព្រះអង្គជាព្រះនៃមនុស្សគ្រប់ទាំងសាសន៍ពីព្រោះយើងរាល់គ្នាដែលរស់រានមានជីវិតនៅលើផែនដីសុទ្ឋតែជាស្នាមព្រះហស្ថព្រះអង្គបង្កើតឡើងទាំងអស់ព្រះគម្ពីយ៉ូហាន១:៣បានបញ្ជាក់ថា “អ្វីៗទាំងអស់គឺបានកើតមកដោយសារព្រះ អង្គហើយក៏គ្មានអ្វីណាមួយកើតក្រៅពីទ្រង់ឡើយ”។ព្រះអង្គជាចំលើយ!អស់ពួក អ្នកដែលមានទុក្ខព្រួយត្រូវតែចូលមកសូមព្រះពរពីទ្រង់។ពីព្រោះមនុស្សលោក យើងជាពួជរបស់ព្រះពិត ភាសាអង់គ្លេសថា “We are the offspring of God”(កិច្ចការ១៧:២៩)។មនុស្សលោកយើងមិនមែនជាពួជសត្វឆ្កែ ឆ្មា ស្វា សេះ ឬក៏ដំរីដូចពួកល្ងីល្ងើមួយចំនួន ដែលតាំងខ្លួនគេថាជា “អ្នកប្រាជ្ញខាងវិទ្យាសាស្រ្តន៍”នោះទេ។តាមពិតបិតាឬស្ថាបនិកនៃពួកអ្នកប្រាជ្ញទាំងនោះ “The Founder of Science”គឺសុទ្ធតែជាអ្នកដែលបានជឿនិងដើរតាមព្រះដ៏ពិតទាំងអស់គឺដូចជា៖ លោក យ៉ូហាន ខិបល័រ (John Kepler 1571-1630) លោកហ្រ្វង់ស៊ីសបេខុន(Francis Bacon 1561-1626) លោក រ៉ូប៊ែរត៏ ប៊យលី(Robert Boyle 1627-1991) លោក ហ្សន រ៉េ (John Ray 1627-1705) លោក អ៊ីសាក់ ញូតុន (Isaac Newton 1642-1727) លោក ម៉ាធ្យូ ម៉ូរី (Matthew Maury 1806-1873) លោក ហ្វោជ វ៉ាស៊ិនតោន ខារវើរ(George Washington Carver) ព្រមទាំងពួកនាយកវិទ្យាធិការនៃសកលវិទ្យាល័យ និងពួកម្ចាស់,ប្រធានរោងចក្រផលិតរបស់ជាច្រើនរាប់មិនអស់។ សំនួរ៖ នៅប្រទេសខ្មែរយើង ប្រទេសថៃ ឡាវ ភូមាជាប្រទេសដែលយកព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនាជាធំហើយទុកជាសាសនារបស់រដ្ឋផង តើមានប្រតិកម្មយ៉ាងណាដែរចំពោះគ្រីស្ទានយើង? ចម្លើយ៖ បើសិនជាលោកអ្នករាល់គ្នាជឿទៅលើពុទ្ធដីការរបស់ព្រះពុទ្ធពិតនិងបុព្វបុរសរបស់លោកអ្នកមែននោះ លោកអ្នកពិតជាទទួលយកព្រះយេស៊ូវជាមិនខានឡើយ ពីព្រោះលោកទាំងនោះហើយដែលបានប្រាប់យើងរាល់គ្នាឲ្យខំរកព្រះអង្គសង្រ្គោះ”យេស៊ូវ”សត្វលោក ដែលនៅក្នុងភាសាអង់គ្លេសថា៖ “GOD (Jeshuah or Jehovah) save us from Sin” (ព្រះគ្រូ សេដ្ឋាវិរិយបណ្ឌិតោ អតីតមន្រី្តសង្ឃជាន់ខ្ពស់) សូមលោកអ្នកបងប្អូនសិក្សាមេត្តាជួយសិក្សាឲ្យបានហ្មត់ចត់និងពិនិត្យឡើងវិញជាមួយគ្នាគឺៈ នៅមុនពេលចូលបរិនិព្វាន្ត(សុគត់)នាឆ្នាំ៤៨៣មុនព្រះគ្រីស្ទសករាជ ព្រះពុទ្ធមានដីការថាៈ “មិនថាតែអាវុសោកាន់តាមព្រះវិន័យបានយ៉ាងណានោះទេ ទោះបីពួកឯងខំព្យាយាមអធិដ្ឋានមមួយថ្ងៃ៥ដងក៏ដោយ ក៏ពួកភិក្ខុឯងរាល់គ្នាមិនអាចញែកខ្លួនចេញឲ្យផុតអំពីបាបកម្មរបស់ខ្លួនបានដែរ។ទោះបីអាវុសោបូជាខ្លួនឯងក្តីឬសូម្បីតែ តថាគត(ខ្ញុំ)ក្លាយទៅជាតាបសឥសី ឬកើត១០ដង ទៀតក៏ដោយ ក៏តថាគត(ខ្ញុំកូណា)មិនអាចជួយសង្រ្គោះពួកអ្នកបានដែរ”។ (ពុទ្ធវចនៈនៅទីសការៈបូជាព្រះវិហារ នៃវត្តឈៀងមៃក្នុងប្រទេសថៃ) “គឺមានតែព្រះយេស៊ូវមួយព្រះអង្គគត់ដែលអាចព្យាបាលនឹងជួយសង្រ្គោះលោកអ្នកឲ្យរួចពីបាបកម្មបាន។ពីព្រោះព្រះអង្គជាព្រះដ៏ពិត១០០ភាគរយ រួចក៏ជាតួអង្គមនុស្សគ្រប់ល័ក្ខណ៍១០០ភាគរយដែរ។ព្រះអង្គបានលោះបាបកម្មរបស់យើងរាល់គ្នា ដោយសុគត់នៅលើឈើឆ្កាងឯភ្នំកាលវារី(ព្រះគ្រីស្ទបានសុគត់ដើម្បីដោះបាបកម្មរបស់យើងរាល់គ្នាស្របតាមបទព្រះគម្ពីរ។ពួកគេបានបញ្ជុះព្រះសពរបស់ទ្រង់នៅក្នុងផ្នូររួចព្រះអង្គមានព្រះជន្មរស់ឡើងវិញនៅថ្ងៃទី៣ក៏ស្របតាមបទព្រះហ‚ម្ពីរដែរ” (កូរីនថូសទី១,១៥:៣,៤)។ព្រះយេស៊ូវមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា “បើលោកអ្នករាល់គ្នាជឿតាមលោកម៉ូសេពិតនោះលោកអ្នកពិតជាជឿតាមខ្ញុំមិនខានឡើយពីព្រោះលោកបានចារទុកនៅក្នុងព្រះគម្ពីរអំពីខ្ញុំ”(យូហាន៥:៤៦)។ ព្រះពុទ្ធនិងបុព្វបុរសខ្មែរយើង(នគរភ្នំឬហ្វូណន)បានទាយទុកមករួចក៏ស្របតាមបទព្រះគម្ពីរ លោកណូអេបានចេញពីទូកធំក្រោយពីមហាទឹកជំនន់។លោកបានប្រាប់ ដល់កូនប្រុសរបស់លោកគឺ សិម,ហាំនិងយ៉ាផែតថា “កូនចៅជំនាន់ក្រោយរបស់យ៉ាផែត(ពួកអឺរ៉ុបនិងពួកម៉ុងហ្គោល)នឹងពង្រីកបូរណភាពទឹកដីរបស់គេសាយភាយហើយក៏រស់នៅក្នុងលំនៅរបស់ពួកសិមផង។គាត់មានប្រសាសន៍ទៀតថាកូនចៅជំនាន់ក្រោយរបស់សិម នឹងរស់នៅក្នុងតំបន់(អាស៊ីអាគ្នេយ៍និងយូដាព្រមទាំងអារ៉ាប់ផង)ក៏មានការទំនាក់ទំនងជាពិសេសជាមួយនឹងព្រះជាម្ចាស់។លើកលែងតែកូនចៅជំនាន់ក្រោយរបស់ហាំមួយប៉ុណ្ណោះគឺពួជកាណានបានត្រូវបណ្តាសាវិញ មើលងាយមើលថោកគ្មាននរណារាប់រកទេព្រះអង្គស្គាល់តែពីការឈឺចាប់រងទុក្ខ វេទនា(អេសាយ៥៣)។ព្រះអង្គបានសំដែងការអស្ចារ្យជាច្រើននៅចំពោះហ្វូង “អង្គដែលសំរេចប្រយោជន៍គ្រប់យ៉ាងតាមព្រះរាជបំណង”។រីឯគោត្តមជានាមព្រះរាជវង្សរបស់ទ្រង់។ទ្រង់បានរៀបអភិសេក(រៀបការ)ជាមួយព្រះនាងម្ចាស់ក្សត្រី ពិម្ពារ យសោធរាដែលត្រូវជាកន្និដ្ឋា(ប្អូន)ជីដូនមួយរបស់ទ្រង់នៅក្នុងព្រះជន្មាយុ១៩ព្រះវស្សា។១០ឆ្នាំក្រោយមកព្រះសិទ្ធត្ថបានយាងចាកចេញពីព្រះបរមរាជវាំងក្នុងកាលដែលទ្រង់មានជន្មាយុ២៩ព្រះវស្សា ក្រោយពីប្រសូតបានបុត្រាមួយព្រះអង្គព្រះនាមរាហុលកុមារ។គឺឋិតនៅក្នុងសម័យដែលលោកដានីញ៉ែលកាន់អំណាចជានាយកមើលការខុសត្រូវលើផ្នែករដ្ឋបាលនៅតាមតំបន់ក្បែរភូមិកំណើតរបស់ព្រះពុទ្ធអង្គ។ហ˜áž·áž“យ៉ូរប៉ុន្មានព្រះមហានគរនៃព្រះចៅអធិរាជ ឧទកៈរាមបុត្រ។ព្រះអង្គបានរៀនចប់ដល់ថ្នាក់បណ្ឌិតវិជ្ជានៅសម័យនោះ។បន្ទាប់មកព្រះអង្គក៏បានលាចាកលោកមហាឥសីទាំងនោះចេញទៅតាំងសមាធិដោយអង្គឯងរួចទ្រង់ក៏បានត្រាស់ដឹង(ពុទ្ធិញាណ)នូវព្រះធម៌នាឆ្នាំ៥២៨មុនព្រះគ្រីស្ទសករាជ។ព្រះអង្គបានយាងមកទេសនាទូន្មានប្រៀនប្រដៅដល់សត្វលោកអស់រយៈកាល៤៥ឆ្នាំរួចក៏ចូលបរិនិព្វាន្ត(សោយទីវង្គត់)នៅក្នុងខែឧសភានាឆ្នាំ៤៨៣មុនព្រះគ្រីស្ទសករាជ។ ដោយយោងទៅតាមក្បួនខ្នាតខាងព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនាថា”សាសនាព្រះពុទ្ធនឹងត្រូវនៅគង់វង្សបានរហូតដល់ទៅ៥០០០ព្រះវស្សាបើសិនជាបរិស័ទទាំងអស់របស់ព្រះអង្គគោរពប្រតិបត្តិតាមច្បាប់នៃការបង្រៀនរបស០‹áž‘្រង់។បើមិនដូច្នោះទេព្រះដ៏ចំបងនឹងយាងមកនៅពេលចុងក្រោយដើម្បីនឹងសង្គ្រោះមនុស្សលោកយើង។ព្រះអង្គនោះមានព្រះនាមថា”សិរអាទ្យមេត្រី”។ ពាក្យថា”សិរអាទ្យមេត្រី”នេះចេញមកពីពាក្យ៣រួមបញ្ចូលគ្នាតែមួយ(សមាសភាគ)ទោះជាភាសាសំស្ក្រិតក៏ដូចជាភាសាបាលីដែរដែលខ្ញុំសូមបំបែកស័ព្ទដូចខាងក្រោមនេះ៖ ១-សិរ សិរា សិរស៏ (សិរ្ស) មានន័យថា៖ក្បាល កំពូល ទីដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ បក្សាបក្សី សត្វចតុបាត រុក្ខជាតិ ព្រះអាទិត្យ ព្រះច័ន្រ្ទ តារាផ្កាយទាំងឡាយព្រមទាំងទេវតា ព្រះឥន្រ្ទា(មហាទេវតា)និងព្រាហ្មាជាដើម គ្រប់ទាំងអស់សុទ្ធតែបានកើតមកដោយសារព្រះអង្គ។តួអង្គព្រះអទិទេពអាចប្រទាននូវសន្តិភាពនិងវិបុលភាព(ចំរុងចំរើន)ដល់មនុស្សគ្រប់រូបឬជំនុំជំរះចំពោះអស់អ្នកណាដែលមិនគោរពតាមបទបញ្ជារបស់ទ្រង់។ឯ ព្រះដ៏អស្ចារ្យ ព្រះដ៏ចំបង ព្រះគន្លង និងព្រះជាម្ចាស់”។សូមមេត្តាអាននូវព្រះគម្ពីបថមកាល(លោកុប្បត្តិ)១:១”។ ៣- មេត្រី មានន័យថា “សេចក្តីស្រលាញ់ដែលគ្មានព្រំខ័ណ្ឌក៏មានទំនាក់ទំនងទៅនឹងសន្តិភាពគឺមានសេចក្តីស្រលាញ់ដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់បំផុត និងពោរពេញទៅដោយសេចក្តីមេត្តាករុណាព្រមទាំងប្រទាននូវសេចក្តីសុខសាន្តផង”។ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រីយើងអាចបកប្រែថា “ព្រះអាទិករដ៏ខ្ពស់បំផុតដែលបានស្រលាញ់និងប្រោសប្រណី”ឬប្រែថា “ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នៃមេត្រីភាព”ឬប្រែថា “ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នៃមេត្តាករុណា” ព្រះគន្លងព្រះដំបូង ព្រះដ៏មានមហិទ្ធិឫទ្ធិលើសលប់ ព្រះដែលបានស្រលាញ់យើងរាល់គ្នាទាំងមានព្រះទ័យអាណិតអាសូរ។ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រីគឺជាដើមនិងជាចុងក៏ជាតួអង្គព្រះដែលបានប្រសូតមកច្បងគេបង្អស់។ព្រះជន្មរបស់ព្រះអង្គគង់នៅអស់កល្បជានិច្ច០”ឯសេចក្តីស្រលាញ់របស់ព្រះអង្គក៏ពោរពេញដោយសេចក្តីមេត្តាករុណានិងមានខន្តី(អត់ធ្មត់)ចំពោះយើងរាល់គ្នាជាប់មកជារៀងរហូត។ដោយយោងទៅតាមរឿងព្រេងនិទាននៃពួកសាសនាពួកគាត់បាននិទានថា ក៏ចាប់ផ្តើមខ្លីទៅៗដោយសារតែ៤ព្រះអង្គនេះហើយដែលបានប្លន់ទាំងលួចយកនៅដំបងរាជ្យ (រាជ្យទណ្ឌឬច្រត់)របស់ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រី។ ទំនាយរបស់បុព្វបុរសខ្មែរយើង(នគរបាភ្នំឬហ្វូណន) ព្រះជាម្ចាស់(ឬព្រះពិត)ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រីជាតួអង្គរាជសីហ៍ជាដើមហើយក៏ជាចុង និងជាទីសង្ឃឹមនៃសត្វលោកយើង។យើងអាចធ្វើការប្រៀបធៀបឬក៏អាចឃើញព្រះអង្គនៅក្នុងព្រះគម្ពីរបថមកាល(លោកុប្បត្តិ)៤៩:៩-១០។ព្រះអង្គជាព្រះអធិរាជលើអស់ទាំងស្តេចនិងក៏ជាព្រះជាម្ចាស់លើអស់ទាំងព្រះ។ព្រះអង្គមិនមែនគ្រងព្រះពស្ទ(ជីពរ)របស់ទ្រង់ដូចព្រះពុទ្ធអង្គឬក៏ដូចពួកសង្ឃពួកតាបស់ឥសី ឬដូចពួកសាសនាណាដែលមាននៅក្នុងលោកនេះទេ។ ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រីគឺជាអង្គព្រះដ៏បន្ទាបព្រះកាយជាអង្គព្រះដ៏សាមញ្ញ ក៏ពោរពេញទៅដោយសេចក្តីស្រលាញ់និងមានព្រះទ័យមេត្តាករុណាប្រោសប្រណីនិងប្រទាននូវសន្តិភាពដល់សត្វលោក។គ្មាននរណាម្នាក់បានដឹងពីទីកន្លែងដែលព្រះអង្គគង់នៅទីណាទេ ប៉ុន្តែលោកអ្នកទាំងអស់គ្នាស្គាល់ទ្រង់បានតាមស្នាមដែលមាននៅជាប់នឹងព្រះកាយរបស់ទ្រង់គឺមានព្រះហស្ថ កងចក្ក(ចក្កំ=កង់)គឺជាស្នាមរង្វង់មូលនៃការដំដែកគោល ដែលបានបោះនៅលើព្រះហស្ថទ្រង់។ព្រះបាទាលាយល័ក្ខ(គឺមានស្នាមដិតព្រះលោហិតក្រហម)និងឆ្អឹងជំនីក្ងោកច្រាស(សត្វក្ងោកគឺជានិមិត្តរូប នៃជីវិតអំនួតរបស់ពួកទាហានរ៉ូម)។ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រីយាងមកក្នុងលោកិយ៍ដើម្បីនឹងជួយសង្រ្គោះជិវិតមនុស្សលោកយើងនេះដែលមានបាបកម្ម(សត្វលោកយើងងុយងោកណាស់)ដោយប្រទាននូវជីវិតអស់កល្បនិងធ្វើអោយមានសន្តិភាពព្រមទាំងចំរុងចំរើនដល់យើងរាល់គ្នាជានិច្ច។ (អ្នកនគរបារភ្នំឬហ្វូណនជាអំបូរខ្មែរ មនឫបុព្វបុរសខ្មែរនិងការព្យាករណ៍របស់ព្រះពុទ្ធអង្គ) សូមយើងពិចារណានិងពិនិត្យមើលព្រះអង្គអោយបានច្បាស់ព្រមទាំងប្រៀបធៀបមើលផងថាតើស្របទៅនឹងព្រះគម្ពីរដែរឬទេ?(សូមមើលព្រះគម្ពីដំណឹងល្អយ៉ូហាន២០:២៤-២៩)។ ព្រះពុទ្ធបានបង្រៀនថា តទៅអនាគត់នឹងមានព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ម៉ៃស៊ីយ៍ គឺជាតួអង្គដែលប្រោសមនុស្សលោកអោយមានសេរីភាពនិងរួចពីបាបកម្មរបស់ខ្លួន។ព្រះពុទ្ធមានពុទ្ធដីការថា ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រី ជាព្រះនៃមេត្តាករុណា ព្រះនាមរបស់ទ្រង់ត្រូវបានគេហៅថា ជាមហាក្សត្រលើអស់ទាំងសត្វ និងជាព្រះជាម្ចាស់លើអស់ទាំងព្រះ។ព្រះអង្គជាអង្គមានសព្វញ្ញត្តញ្ញាណ(ជ្រាបគ្រប់ទាំងអស់គ្មានចន្លោះកន្លែងណាឡើយ)ក៏មានប្រាជ្ញាលើសអស់ទាំងពួកអ្នកប្រាជ្ញ ពួករាជបណ្ឌិតផង។ព្រះអង្គបានជ្រាបដឹងទាំងអស់នៅក្នុងចិត្តគំនិតរបស់យើងរាល់គ្នា។ព្រះអង្គជាព្រះជាម្ចាស់នៃពួកទេវតានិងក៏ជាព្រះជាម្ចាស់នៃមនុស្សលោកយើងទាំងអស់ដែរ។គ្មាននាមអង្គណាខ្ហ–ស់ដ៏ឧត្តមដូចទ្រង់ឡើយ(សត្រា សុតន្តបិដក ៣:១០៧)។ព្រះពុទ្ធបានបន្តរបង្រៀនពីសិរអាទ្យមេត្រី ថាព្រះអង្គជាម្ចាស់នៃសេចក្តីមេត្តាករុណា ក៏ជាម្ចាស់លើសន្តិភាពដែរ នៅត្រង់ចំហៀងឆ្អឹងជំនីរបស់ទ្រង់មានស្នាមក្ងោកច្រាសហើយនៅលើថ្ងាស់របស់ព្រះអង្គក៏មានស្លាកស្នាមជាច្រើនផង។ព្រះអង្គអាចនឹងនាំពួកយើងទៅកាន់ឋានសួគ៌បានលោក-áž¢áŸ’áž“áž€áž“áž¹áž„áž”áž¶áž“ážƒáž¾áž‰ážáž½áž¢áž„áŸ’áž‚áž–áŸ’ážšáŸ‡ážŠáŸáž–á ž·ážáŸ”ដូច្នេះចូរលះបង់ចោលផ្លូវចាស់របស់ខ្លួនចេញចុះ នោះព្រះវិញ្ញាណដែលយាងមកពីឋានសួគ៌ក៏នឹងមកសណ្ឋិតគង់នៅក្នុងចិត្តរបស់លោក-អ្នក។ (ពុទ្ធវចនៈនៅទីសក្ការៈបូជាទីព្រះវិហារនៃវត្តឈៀងម៉ៃ ក្នុងប្រទេសថៃ) ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រី គឺជា “ព្រះបន្ទូល”, “មាគ៌ា(ផ្លូវ)”, “សច្ចធ៌ម(សេចក្តីពិត)”, “ព្រះនៃ សន្តិភាព”និងជា “រាជសីហ៍(សឹង្ហឬតោ)”។ ព្រះយេស៊ូវ គឺជា “ព្រះបន្ទូល”, “មាគ៌ា(ផ្លូវ)”, “សច្ចធ៌ម(សេចក្តីពិត)”, “ព្រះនៃ ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រី ជាភាសាសំស្រ្កិតឬសិរអាទិមេត្រី ជាភាសាបាលីដែលពួកបរិស័ទខ្មែរ ថៃ ភូមា និងឡាវ ព្រមទាំងបុព្វបុរសរបស់ពួកគាត់បានពូពណ៌នាអំពីព្រះអង្គសង្រ្គោះសត្វលោកនោះគឺពិតជាតួអង្គព្រះយេស៊ូវដែនមាននៅក្នុងព្រះគម្ពីរសញ្ញាថ្មី ហើយក៏មានព្រះនាមដូចគ្នាទៅនឹងយ៉ាវេ ឬ យេហូវ៉ា ជាភាសាហេរព្រើរដែរ ក៏ជាព្រះ “ម៉ៃស៊ីយ៍”ដែលនឹងយាងមកជួយសង្រ្គោះពួកសាសន៍អ៊ីស្រាអែលឬក៏ថា “ព្រះគ្រីស្ទ” ជាភាសាក្រិច ហើយនៅក្នុងគម្ពីរអ៊ីស្លាមថា “អ៊ីសាអាល់មាស៊ីហ”។ រីឯវចនានុក្រមខ្មែរ-អង់គ្លេស áž“áž·áž„ អង់គ្លេស-ខ្មែរ នៅទំព័រ២៦៥ ដែលនិពន្ធដោយលោក កែម សុស,លឹម ហាក់ឃាង, ម៉ាក់ ដឺលីន អ៊ីអ៊ីរ៉ាម,ក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៩០ សៀវភៅហ៊ិបប៉ូក្រិន(HippocreneBooks)ដែលបានបោះពុម្ពលើកទី៥នៅ ញ៉ូយកក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៩៨ឲ្យប្រើប្រាស់ជាអន្តរជាតិបានចារថា Jesus Christ (ព្រះយេស៊ូវគ្រីស្ទ)ជាអង្គព្រះអាទិទេព”។ ព្រះយេស៊ូវធ្វើឲ្យសម្រេចតាមក្រិតវិន័យ និងបទទំនាយទាំងប៉ុន្មាន (ភស្តុតាងជាក់ស្តែង មានទាំងនៅខាងក្នុង និងខាងក្រៅព្រះគម្ពីរ) ព្រះយេស៊ូវបានបញ្ជាក់នៅក្នុងព្រះគម្ពីរ ម៉ាថាយ៥:១៧ “ចូរកុំនឹកស្មានថាខ្ញុំបានមកនេះដើម្បីលុបបំបាត់នូវក្រិតវិន័យ ឬបទទំនាយនៃពួកហោរាណាមួយចោលនោះឡើយ។ខ្ញុំមិនមែនមកលុបបំបាត់ទេគឺខ្ញុំមកធ្វើអោយសម្រេចវិញ”។ព្រះគម្ពីរ រ៉ូម១០:៤បានចែងថា ព្រះគ្រីស្ទគឺជាចុងបញ្ចប់នៃក្រិតវិន័យដើម្បីឲ្យអស់អ្នកដែលបានជឿបានរាប់ជាសុច្ចរិត។ព្រះយេស៊ូវមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៀតទៅកាន់ពួកគេនៅក្នុងព្រះគម្ពីរ យ៉ូហាន១០:៧-៨ថា “ខ្ញុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាឲ្យដឹងច្បាស់ថា ខ្ញុំនេះហើយជាទ្វាសម្រាប់បើកឲ្យសត្វចៀមចេញចូល អស់ពួកអ្នកដែលមកមុនៗខ្ញុំទាំងប៉ុន្មានសុទ្ធតែជាចោរលួចចោរប្លន់ទាំងអស់”(ចំពោះបងប្អូន គ្រីស្ទាននៃគណៈនិកាយខ្លះដែលគាត់មិនសូវបានសិក្សាជ្រៅជ្រះផ្នែកទំនាយទំនៀមទម្លាប់និងវប្បធ៌មនានា នោះពួកគាត់មិនជឿថា ព្រះគ្រីស្ទជាតួអង្គ ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រីទេ តែតាមការពិត ព្រះសិរអាទ្យមេត្រី ដែលអយិកោអយិកាខ្មែរដើមយើងបានប្រាប់ឲ្យរកនោះគឺជាតួអង្គព្រះគ្រីស្ទយេស៊ូវនេះឯងហើយ)។ តាមទស្សនៈនៃការបើកសម្តែងរបស់ព្រះពុទ្ធបានឲ្យដឹងពីការយាងមកនៃព្រះមហាក្សត្រលើអស់ទាំងក្សត្រនោះ គឺជារឿងមួយដែលគួរឲ្យឆ្ងល់ដែរ បើសិនជាពួកហោរា(អ្នកប្រាជ្ញ រាជបណ្ឌិត) នៅក្នុងព្រះគម្ពីរ ម៉ាថាយជំពួក២ ថាជាពួកពុទ្ធបរិស័ទវិញនោះ។នេះក៏ជារឿងមួយប្លែក ហើយក៏ជាចំនុចមួយបង្ហាញដល់យើងក៏មិនបានច្បាស់លាស់ដែរ តាមលក្ខណៈប្រពៃណីថា ពួកហោរា(អ្នកប្រាជ្ញ រាជបណ្ឌិត)គឺជាពួជសាសន៍លាយចម្រុះនិងមានសញ្ជាតិផ្សេងពីគ្នាផង។សញ្ជាតិលាយចម្រុះគឺជាការមួយដែលលំបាកនឹងអះអាងណាស់ដែរ ដោយសារការពិព៌ណនានៅក្នុងព្រះគម្ពីរថា ពួកហោរា(អ្នកប្រាជ្ញ រាជបណ្ឌិត)ដែលលោកចេញមកពីទិសខាងកើត អ្នកណាដែលជឿតាមខ្ញុំនោះនឹងមានជីវិតរស់នៅអស់កល្បជានិច្ច”(យ៉ូហាន៦:៤៧)។ ព្រះពុទ្ធបានត្រាស់ដឹងនូវព្រះធ៌ម(ជាបាលី)ឬ ព្រះធ៌ម(ជាសំស្រ្កិត)។ ព្រះធ៌មគឺជា “ព្រះបន្ទូល” និងជា “មាគ៌ា”(ផ្លូវ)។ ព្រះធ៌មអាចជួយលោក-អ្នកឲ្យរួចពីការរងទុកលំបាកវេទនា(បាបកម្ម)បាន។ ព្រះយេស៊ូវគឺជា “ព្រះបន្ទូល” និងជា “មាគ៌ា”(ផ្លូវ)។ព្រះអង្គអាចជួយសង្រ្គោះរាស្រ្តទ្រង់ឲ្យរួចពីបាបកម្មរបស់ពួកគេបាន។ ព្រះពុទ្ធបានត្រាស់ដឹងនូវ “សច្ចធ៌ម(សេចក្តីពិត)” ព្រះយេស៊ូវគឺជាតួអង្គនៃ “សច្ចធ៌ម”។ ព្រះពុទ្ធបានត្រាស់ដឹងអំពី “ជីវិត” ព្រះយេស៊ូវជាតួអង្គនៃ“ជីវិត”។ ព្រះពុទ្ធត្រាស់ដឹងជាងមនុស្សទាំងពួង ក៏ប៉ុន្តែទ្រង់មិនមែនប្រកបទៅដោយសព្វញ្ញត្តញាណ(ដឹងទាំងអស់)នោះទេ។ព្រះពុទ្ធអង្គផ្ទាល់ក៏មិនបានប្រកាស់ថា ព្រះអង្គបានត្រាស់ដឹងទាំងអស់ដែរ។ព្រះអង្គបានត្រាស់ដឹងនូវព្រះធ៌មត្រឹមតែ ៨៤០០០ ព្រះធម្មក្ខ័ន្ធប៉ុណ្ណោះ(ជាព្រះធ៌មដែលព្រះពុទ្ធបង្រៀន)ប៉ុន្តែពួកពុទ្ធបរិស័ទបាននិយាយថា “ព្រះអង្គបានត្រាស់ដឹងគ្រប់ទាំងអស់”។ ព្រះពុទ្ធមានបន្ទូលទៅកាន់ពួកពុទ្ធបរិស័ទរបស់ទ្រង់ថា“ចូរកុំទីពឹងលើតថាគត់(ខ្ញុំកូណា)ឡើយ។តថាគត់គ្មានអ្វីដែលត្រូវអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាទីពឹងទេ” ប៉ុន្តែពួកពុទ្ធបរិស័ទរបស់ទ្រង់នៅតែទទួចទូលថា “ប្រាកដមែន ព្រះអង្គពិតជាមាន...”។ព្រះពុទ្ធបានរៀនសូត្រពីឥសីល្បីៗជាច្រើនប៉ុន្តែពួកបរិស័ទរបស់ទ្រង់បាននិយាយថា “គ្មានគ្រូអាចារ្យណាបង្ហាត់បង្រៀនឬប្រៀនប្រដៅព្រះអង្គឡើយគឺទ្រង់បានត្រាស់ដឹង(ចេះ)នូវអ្វីៗទាំងអស់ដោយព្រះអង្គឯង”ការបញ្ជាក់អះអាងច្រើនដើម្បីទ្រង់ ជាងព្រះពុទ្ធដែលបានអះអាងដោយទ្រង់ផ្ទាល់នេះហើយជាកំហុស “មុសាវាទ”។ ដូចដែលខ្ញុំបានជំរាបជូនពីព្រះពុទ្ធអង្គរួចមកហើយថា ទ្រង់បានសិក្សាពីគ្រូជាច្រើន ជាពិសេសគឺព្រះគ្រូ ភគវា មហាឥសី២អង្គដ៏ល្បីគឺៈ អាឡារ៉ាក់ កាលាមគោត្រ áž“áž·áž„ ឧទ្ទក រាមបុត្រា។ ព្រះអង្គបានសម្រេចនូវ សមាប័ត្រ៦(កំរិតស្មើរនឹង បរិញ្ញាបត្រទោ កឺថ្នាក់ អនុបណ្ឌិត)នាបច្ចុប្បន្ននេះក្រោមសំណាក់នៃលោក មហាឥសី ឧទ្ទក។ “យើងខ្ញុំជឿថា ព្រះពុទ្ធបានសិក្សាជាច្រើនពីពួកយូដា នៅក្នុងរជ្ជកាលនៃព្រះចៅអធិរាជ ពើស៊ី កាន់កាប់អំណាច ពីព្រោះសេចក្តីបង្រៀនរបស់ព្រះអង្គ(សិក្ខាបទ)ដូចជាថាៈ ចូរកុំសំលាប់ឲ្យសោះ “បាណាតិបាត” ចូរកុំលួចគេឲ្យសោះ “អទិន្នាទានា” ចូរកុំផិតគ្នាឲ្យសោះ “កាមេសុមិច្ឆាចារ” និងកុំពោលពាក្យកុហក់ឲ្យសោះ “មុសាវាទ” ច្បាប់ទាំងនេះគឺពិតជាបានដកស្រង់ចេញពី ព្រះគម្ពីរសញ្ញាចាស់(ក្រិត្យវិន័យទាំង១០ “ទស”ប្រការ)របស់លោក ម៉ូសេ(គឺ១០០០ឆ្នាំមុនពុទ្ធសករាជ)ហើយទ្រង់ក៏បានថែម៤ប្រការទៀត

Two strong grown churches that we seen in Cambodia: 1-Preak Ambel (established by Mr. Noun Chheng) The new two stories build was almost completed. The first floor was the classroom and computer lab for bible students. The second floor was for worship. The old worship building now becomes students housing. There was big playground in the middle. There was a ministry teacher house nearby. Pray the Lord that this may become a good bible school in Cambodia. Most of the members of these churches were young. 2-Toul Kok Phnom Penh (established by Pastor Sy Seng Ouk) This church now rent a big house, every room the first floors were used for God service. Men and women classes and has churches choir band. This church lead by Bin David and Sometimes he went out around support churches outskirt PP like Oudong and far countryside like Ratanakiry (?)… Now this church just bought a land $20,000.00 and will build a church very soon. Please pray for this church continued to grow.  I happy to report the two small churches that we seen in Cambodia: 1-     Koh Dach Church (established by Pastor Yos Oan) These churches were worship under or on one house at this moment. There wee a good children group could sing or known bible verse in they mind without read Hymnbook or bible, there were a lot of old ladies with very good hearts. They were very friendly. Please pray for them that one day they have they own building. I wished the government or anybody start organize to build a bridge a cross this Koh very soon, there were poor because hard to do business in or out to other city. This church got little support from outside. I hope God will open the door for them very near future. 1-Kompong Speu church (this church established by an old retired lady name Ry) This area has a few church building and an orphanages house near by. Om Ry church was not in the village instead was set on the rice field. A lady pastor, she gave us a good message the day we been there. There were good youth group performed a good choir for us. This church got very little support from outside. They got a small building, but they need to add a room for children, and they need a lot of chairs (I was talked to my wife if we could help them some). Let pray for this church.

  Gecko Tails Late December 2007  I wanted to include a short story my missionary friend Mark Fender (left) included in a recent Newsletter. Mark is the Country Director of Int’l Teams and runs our EFC-KEY satellite office in Kompong Cham city for us.  “Our dog Sophia eats quite well. Not long ago the in laws and our new niece Ali were here for a visit.  My wife, Sopheaktra decided to make some beef soup. The byproduct of this culinary project was a few large beef bones.  Now, our dog Sophia loves bones. She doesn't gnaw on them; she devours them. Even fish bones and chicken bones (which you probably aren't supposed to give to dogs) - they're like eating potato chips to our little dog.  Well, I knew that Sophia would be overwhelmed with doggy joy at the prospect of those large beef bones to chew on.  Sure enough, when I took one of those bones downstairs, Sophia was quite interested. I let her stare at it for a minute before giving it to her and then, when I finally gave it to her, an interesting thing happened.  Once she had the bone, I couldn't get near her. If I approached her and her newly received "treasure," she would growl like she was part wolf.  Not the playful growl of ‘playing keep away’ as we enjoy doing.  It was more of a "you move one more step closer and I'll rip your arm off" kind of growl.  It's kind of ironic that I was the one who gave her the bone, and now she was desperate to protect it from me.”  Mark explains the parable in terms of a special message from God for him, in that he is like Sophia in being overly possessive with the abundant good gifts that God gives him. For some reason I love this story because I can picture Mark clearly, being so hurt that his little tiny scraggily dust mop-like cherished dog would betray his love and turn on him for a large bone.    I have a different slant on the story. In my parable, the large bone is still a huge gift, but instead it is in the terms of the privilege to make an impact on the Cambodian society through the raising up of emerging Jesus-following leaders. If you saw little Sophie, there was no way she was going to grab the bone, trot away and hide that bone from Mark. It would take all she had to move it 5 feet and it might take her all day and into the night. The gift I am given is just as big and unwieldy. It has to be given away. It is too big to carry alone or even with the help of my associates. My joy from God’s gift of opportunity and vision for Cambodia will be the passing on of this gift in the form of a contribution which will be my investment in the lives of emerging leaders and leaving them with the skills and tools on how to deal with globalization’s effect on Cambodia and the ramifications of an increasingly growing group of post-modern young people in the major cities. This means thinking about a Kingdom response to a new culture, global and local politics, justice issues, poverty, economics, and the environment. Addressing these issues with informed, intelligent and biblical responses will open up the door for a great Christian Witness among the 14 million people of Cambodia. This also means it will be an incredibly busy next few months, graduating 25 Diamond Project Level 1 Students (year 4) and launching year 5 on the same day and then a week later, having a combined ‘team building’ retreat with both DP Level 1 and DP level 2 (DP 2 being an in-service, non-formal training for more experienced leaders, focusing on world view and the impact of local and global cultural trends, how to interpret them and respond biblically).   Speaking of bones, I had a few small ones thrown my way today.  Small Gifts from Today:   Swimming in the ocean with Jordan, having Zebra fish (about 4 inches long) following us around, and having him still call me ‘daddy.’ Seeing Jordan wrestling in the pure white sand with a dark Cambodian boy his age laughing so hard his sides are about to burst. They were trying to get each other to say the Cambodian equivalent of “uncle.” Watching the young girls with their twinkling dark brown eyes (who should be in school) come around to sell fruit and trinkets, listening to their almost flawless but accented English, as they try to cut deals with foreigner tourists. Your destiny cannot control by your good merits and commas.  Self-reliance on good deeds will not control your destiny either.   Seize your destiny!  Make decisions that draw you closer to God, and remember to guard your thoughts.  Your every decision is built upon a thought.  Saint Paul writes, bring  "every thought into captivity to the obediences of Christ!"  (2 Cor. 10:5).  Sin doesn't begin with an action; it begins with a thought.   Adultery does not begin at a motel or any other places; it begins when your thoughts turn away from your marriage vow made before God. Murder does not begin when you squeeze the trigger; it begins when your thoughts of anger are not brought into obedience before God. Divorce does not begin in the judge's chambers; it begins when you entertain thoughts of how good life would be without your spouse. Theft does not begin when you break the window of the jewelry store; it begins when you first imagine how wonderful it would be to have what's not yours. Your Speech Impacts your Destiny! Your thoughts will become your words, and your words will take on powerful implications of their own.   Proverb 18:21 says,"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit."   Notice that there is no middle ground regarding the effects of your speech; your words will lead to either life or death!  Wounds inflicted by a sword will soon heal, but wounds inflicts by a toxic tongue cannot be mended apart from the healing power of God's forgiveness.   I once saw the teacher of an adult class gave this assignment to his students:  "Go to someone you love and tell them that you love them."  At the beginning of the next class, one of the students told the teacher he was angry at the assignment b/c he didn't feel that he could say these words to anyone.  He then said, But as I began driving home, my conscious started talking.  5 years ago, my wife and I had a vicious disagreement and never really resolved it.  We avoided seeing each other unless we absolutely had to at family and friend gatherings.  By the time I got home, I had convinced myself I was going to tell my wife I loved her.  Just making that decision seemed to lift a heavy load off of my chest.   At about 5:30 P.M., I was at my own home ringing the doorbell, and as luck would have it, my wife answered the door.  I didn't waste any time!  I took one step inside the door and said, 'Honey, I just rushed my way home to tell you that I'm sorry and I love you."   It was as if a transformation came over my wife.  Before my eyes, her face softened, the wrinkles seemed to disappear, and she began to cry.  We stretched out our arms and hugged each other.  The children came and saw it made them them wanting to dance over our toes   A bit later, she looked at me straight and said, 'I'm sorry too; I was too selfish at that time.'   With this forgiven speech, two days of that conversation, we changed destiny of our relationship.  God says, so long the unforgiven spirits have not healed, the Father in heaven will not forgive either.   Daily devotion... Today, I sit pondering about my life and the life of many young Asian American. One of the issue that I want to talk about is the pressure to honor our parents, even though sometimes it come to conflict with our own happiness. I found an article on the web that talks about this subject. After reading the article, tell me what do think about this issue.Inside the Asian Pressure Cooker Asian immigrants' drive for material success and shame-based culture may be causing many to place impossibly strict expectations on their children. Health and social workers say rates of depression are disproportionately high among Asian youths, and in some cases this results in suicide. By Pueng Vongs, Pacific News Service SAN FRANCISCO - Aug. 23, 2005 - It's become cliché: Asian parents browbeat their kids into pursuing prestigious professions in technology, medicine or law, and their children suffer the resulting stress and depression. But speaking with other Asian professionals at a recent social gathering, I found we all agreed that we shared the same affliction. Jane Wong, 40, from Hong Kong just quit her lucrative software job because the 60-80 hour workweek reminded her of constantly struggling to anticipate the needs of her demanding Chinese parents. Wong says she pursued only the most visible projects, craving recognition, but still felt dissatisfied. Rebecca Wee, 40, from Malaysia also walked off her job as a high tech manager to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. But after decades of being told by her parents that only the most well-paid and stable career goals were worth pursuing, she spends many days paralyzed, undermining her decision and herself. As for me, after 15-hour days working as a hotel manager my Thai immigrant father still had enough energy at night to scrutinize my schoolwork -- and let me hear it if he was not satisfied. He made it clear that his love was dependent on me making perfect marks. The message that it is not who you are but how well you do still consumes me. Experts are beginning to take greater notice of the impact of intense academic pressure and strict parenting on Asian youths, and they say these factors contribute to high rates of depression among young Asians. Chinese, Filipino and other Pacific Islander youths topped the charts of groups reporting symptoms of depression in a survey of middle school kids taken by the San Francisco Unified School District in 2001, in numbers disproportionate to their population. In the worse cases, Asian youths see no way out. Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people aged 15 to 24, but second among young Asian and Pacific Islanders (unintentional injuries rank first), according to the Centers for Disease Control in 2000. Asian American girls have the highest rates of depressive symptoms of all racial groups and the highest rate of suicide among all women age 15 to 24, according to an American Psychological Association study in 2003. Coleman Wong says pressures facing Asian kids have changed little in the 30 years he has counseled students in San Francisco schools. "For the bulk of Asian parents it is all about succeeding, and there is no middle ground." Wong mentions two recent suicide attempts, one successful, by Chinese students in San Francisco as examples of how the enormous pressure to succeed may contribute to suicide. An American-born Chinese captain of Lowell High School's football team, who maintained a high GPA in the district's most competitive high school, killed himself in 2002. "A bad grade on a test or a fight with a girlfriend or boyfriend can be devastating to a kid if they don't know how to reach out," Wong says. In 2004, a student was from Balboa High who ranked high in student government survived a suicide attempt. Wong says oftentimes Asian immigrant parents don't know how to give positive reinforcement or show their kids that it is OK to make mistakes. "In Chinese there is a word for making a mistake, 'chuo,' and a word for being bad, 'huai.' Parents confuse them both. It is a shame-based society. You do well for your family's sake, not your own." Asian girls are especially at risk. When he walks into a classroom and asks how many students are depressed and how many have thought about suicide, Wong says it is consistently Asian girls, often the oldest in their families, who raise their hands. "They often have the most pressure because they also have to look after the other kids." He thinks more bilingual counselors are needed to communicate with parents. But some parents, like those of Kao Saephanh, 19, may be hard to reach. Saephanh's Mien parents grew up on a small village on a mountainside in Laos trying to protect their culture from modern influences. Saephanh says they are traditional, "archaic" refugees who count on their oldest male child to help provide them with greater economic security. Sandy Dang, who runs Asian American Leadership Empowerment and Development for Youth and Families in Washington, D.C., says it's important to acknowledge the challenging backgrounds of many parents from the Vietnamese and Hmong communities her group serves. "Many are refugees. Others were brought up with corporal punishment, and that's what they know. Others are orphans of war. How do you teach someone who has not been parented to parent?" she asks. Dang also points to many parents' difficulties communicating with schools. Their children become mediators between home and school. Dang's group helps open lines of communication between parents and teachers. Cheo Saetern, 17, says the group Asian Pacific Islander Youth Promoting Advocacy and Leadership (AYPAL) helped her face her parents' put-downs when her grades were not up to par. "They used to constantly compare me to other kids and my cousins and say that I am not good enough," Saetern says. AYPAL, she says, helped her develop a voice, so that "whenever they yelled at me I could explain to them what was going on. I could tell them why I was out late and that I've done my homework." Saetern says the program has helped her think positively about herself and develop a better relationship with her parents. Now, she says, she has grounded visions of becoming a social worker or studying immigration law. I received a phone called from Florida, USA. “Hello pastor Amra, how are you?”, a tender voice of a church member who has relocated years ago. After a typical greeting and conversation, she said,” My daughter would like to talk to you too”.    Well, a young girl introduced herself, “I am Victoria”.  After hearing her name, I could recall right away that she was one of my students when I was a youth pastor.  She could recall most of the old days. The root of faith at a local church has leaded her to join another church at her new community. Despite the fact that she is young, she is faithful and committed believer. Once you know the blessing of God in your life, you will never ever want to lost it. God has a plan for your life and the plan that he has for you is eternally amazing! God is a perfect God and he loves to bless his people.I was blessed by him! Believe it or not! He has a wonderful blessing ready for me and just in his time he will provide that to me. With more of His blessing I am so thankful for what he has done for me and my wife. We have been married for one year and 2 months and we are living in his blessing. We got our very own house with the help from him and we're be able to bless other as well.

There is this woman that I always see when I walk in the morning going to my office. She looks like the one I saw a long time ago when I travelled with my girlfriend in San Francisco. I have to admit I am a bit shocked, but I think she is a different one and she is not tha one I saw back in California. The old lady is has a really pale skin and a long hair and been get old by the days of living on the street going back and forth from the alley to the old tree that has been standing there for over a hundred years by now I think. There were people who cared for her and they even give her something to eat and some clothes to put on when it is really cold. There were some agents that were taking her along to the orphange or anything that could take care of some old people, but she doesn't like to come with them. I have already made an essay about it, to capture attention of some people that cares to those who need help and to those people who are fortunate enough to donate something to the orphans or some foundation that has a good advocacy. Going back to the old woman, they said she was one of the essay writers before. So, I believe that she is an intelligent woman and had a wonderful life back then, when everything was okay with her life. I just couldn't believe that why she'd get in that kind of situtation. Does she still have a family, a friend or they just abondoned her. I think she doesn't deserved that kind of life but I think that was a test to her and God is just giving her a trials that if she can survive, she will get more than a life that she could ever have.

I am 23 year-old and I have two sisters and four brothers. I am the second child of the family and I am working for World Vision Cambodia as Transformational Development Facilitator. I am a Youth Leader of Trapaing Kanseng Church of Christ. I would like to say thanks to the DP’s coordinators and for EFC-KEY that conducts DP class in Christian Mission in Cambodia, so that I could join the class for one year. I gained many things from DP class such as good relationships with other students from difference places. We learn from each other and share experiences as well as exchange good ideas. DP provided me with good techniques for teaching, leading, personal encouragement and for the encouragement of others. DP gave me special opportunities do field work for improving my capacity. DP also allowed me to join the National Youth Leaders’ Camp in 2007 as a small group leader, as well as providing me an opportunity to attend a special course called Office Skills in Yejj that is most useful in this IT based society. DP also facilitated my finding a good mentor and this was a good experience for me. DP helped change me from an autocratic-power based leader to a servant leader. DP helped me to   value people and I discovered what my core values God given talents were. DP reminds me to be careful with my attitude, behavior and the words I speak in the presence of others.  I used to be proud and boast much but now I try to change and reduce my pride step by step. I don’t believe that DP was created in Cambodia without God’s involvement. Jesus ordained this project to happen in Cambodia for training emerging youth leaders in order to fulfill His ministry because the harvest is so huge but the workers are too few. DP helped give me many new resources that I couldn’t expect having before. I will implement and apply what I learned in my life and my working day to transform me, my family, and my society that they may experience a sustainable development of peace, justice and happiness. I pray for this training to be sustained in Cambodia and broaden through the world.”  Signs of Transformation:      EFC-KEY Big Brother and Sister Program My name is Ms. Chhun Eang. I am 20 years old, I study in grade 12, and I come from Kompong Thom province. My little sister is 14 years old and she studies in grade 7. I believed in Jesus 5 years ago and I adopted a little sister in this program 2 months ago. The reason that I took this little sister was because I saw her family was in such a difficult situation and her mother is a widow with a lot of children and so poor. When I see this little sister I feel full of compassion and her family didn’t hear about the gospel but when I see her I feel I want her to be my sister and at that time I heard about the Big Brother and Sister project of EFC-KEY it made me want her to be my little sister even more. It the God’s plan for me and for other big brothers and sisters, too. I’m so happy that I have this little sister and she is like my sibling. Before she became my little sister she looked lonely and troubled, and her family is also has a very hard life but when she became my little sister I saw her so happy and she always tells me about her difficulties. When camp is coming, it draws us closer because we can do every thing together. For the future I want my little sister to become a good role model to her family. Themes of DP 2 will be Leadership Next, Interpreting Cultural Trends, Missional Churches, World Religions, and Christian leaders in the Age of Globalization.Recently Debbi and I were invited to attend a reception at the U.S. embassy to welcome Mia Farrow and her International group against the genocide in Darfur who were planning to do a ceremony at Toul Sleng Museum (where 17 thousand Cambodians were tortured and killed) to remember those killed here in the genocide. The American ambassador gave a short but touching speech (even quoted the Bible) with his podium pitched between American and Cambodian Flags.  His passionate and politic free talk seemed to illuminate the Stars and Stripes beside him and it reminded me of those American people who were free of self-serving political agendas who actually sacrificed much for their fellow countrymen and other nations.  A Rwandan genocide survivor got up next and stood next to the Stars and Stripes and asked said, “Someday your children will ask you; ‘mommy and daddy, what were you doing when  the Darfur genocide was happening?’”  Mia Farrow invited to participate to join the memorial ceremony the following morning. Debbi and I were celebrating out 17th anniversary but we went anyway, and the government shut it down.  It got a little dicey for a while with police shoving our lawyer friend Ms. Theary Seng who was escorting Mia Farrow. Hosea chapter 4 (TEV) 11 The Lord says, "Wine, both old and new, is robbing my people of their senses!"I grew up in a city that undergo many changes. There are new businesses  going up every day.  Some businesses provide positive services, while other just catered to the destruction of society.  In every block of my city there is a liquor store. In every aspect of life, the venom of alcohol have seep into the lives of everyone.  In my lifetime, I have seen  many negative effects that alcohol have on people, christians and non christians alike. Currently, my very own cousin is possessed by this poison. His relationship with me is severed, because he continuously destroy himself and the people around him. It's hard to help people, that choose this path of self-destruction. Definitely, you can see I'm not a fan of alcohol.  I'm not totally against it, but I'm against the abuse of it.  As christian we should not let alcohol or any addictions take hold of our lives. Discipleship What do you think of when the word discipleship comes to mind? Do you think of discipline, or following Jesus, or helping others, or memorizing Scripture, etc.? When I think of discipleship, of being a follower of Jesus, one common theme always comes to mind. It is found in Jesus' words in Luke 9:23, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me." To me, this is the essence of discipleship. The cross was a place of great pain and humiliation, but it is also a place of great love. Jesus' endured the scorn and ridicule of so many in order to buy life for us. He allowed Himself to be led to a place where He would suffer greatly. He humbled Himself so that He could die. He did not boast in Himself. He did not seek His own. He did not remember a wrong suffered. Instead, He loved. He taught. He healed. He forgave. This is what He meant when He said to pick up your cross and follow Him. He wants you to follow Him to the place of where you die to yourself, where you live humility, where you do not boast, where you are forgiving and loving, and kind -- and where you bring glory to God. This is what He is asking of us because this is what He exemplified. We cannot serve two masters. Either Jesus is Lord or our lives, or we are. To be a disciple of Jesus means that we follow Him. It means that we are trying to become like Him in many ways. This is a very difficult thing to do because He is so good and we are sinners. So much of it is left up to ourselves and our responsibility. God lets us choose our way, our needs, our disciplines. Of course, He desires that we seek Him first; He desires that we love Him first. But, He will not force us into this. He lets us grow and learn from our success as well as our mistakes. He allows us the opportunities to die to ourselves and thereby grow in Christ. He provides the means for us to put others first. He arranges things so that we can make godly choices or choices that suit our fleshly desires and needs. In this, He is discipling us by providing choices to make in our lives. Every opportunity of every day can be a place of turning. Whether or not someone else knows you are a Christian, or knows the motives of your heart, you are to "walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance to one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace" (Eph. 4:1-3). It is a high calling, this thing called Christian discipleship. But it is a worthy calling. Nevertheless, when I compare myself to Jesus, I find myself falling short. To be honest, I don't like bearing the cross daily. It is heavy. I am not particularly fond of disciplining myself to read His Word, not to mention actually applying it to my life. Being humble is something I struggle with and considering the welfare of others means that I have to be less selfish. All of these things are difficult -- and all of these things are unChristlike. Therefore, I cling to the cross, confess my sins, and yet again ask for forgiveness and the strength to continue to walk in a manner worthy of my calling. I will choose to follow Him regardless of the difficulties, the humiliation, and the suffering. Why? Because that is what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. That is what it means if I claim the name of Christian for myself. How about you? Do you claim the title of Christian?
